Bilingual Parent Advisory Committee

The Bilingual Parent Advisory Committee (BPAC) is a state-mandated committee established as part of the district’s Language Instruction Educational Program (LIEP) structure. The committee is composed of parents and guardians of students participating in the LIEP, along with LIEP department staff. BPAC meets at least four times each school year to provide families with information regarding the instructional services and supports available to English Learners (ELs). The committee serves as a collaborative platform for members to receive updates on program initiatives, instructional practices, and changes to LIEP services. Additionally, BPAC provide s an opportunity for parents and guardians to share feedback and offer input regarding the educational needs and interests of students, families, and the broader school community.
